Hey Dockers! If you want to learn more about our diverse and talented team building industry-leading digital identity and Verifiable Credential tech, we’ll be featuring different team members across all of our departments over the next few months. Our staff is spread across different parts of the world and our varying perspectives, experiences, and ideas have contributed to Dock’s growth and success. This week, we’d like to introduce you to Melissa, Dock’s Content Writer. “I’ve been immersed in the #blockchain world since 2021. When I started learning more about the many problems blockchain could help solve, I wanted to contribute my communication and marketing skills to help educate people about the tech. I’ve worked in various communications and marketing roles for over 15 years for companies of all sizes, non-profits, and government programs. I joined Dock because the team is creating solutions for a huge global problem of data fraud and privacy problems with digital identity. Before Dock, I was learning about blockchain technology in my spare time and I’m really grateful that I can work in this emerging industry. As someone who has volunteered and lived in developing countries, I see the technology as a key piece to help more people access services, fairness, transparency, and value. I live in Vancouver, Canada and as someone in the #LGBTQ2+ community, I really appreciate Dock’s diverse team and being able to collaborate easily with people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. To those who are celebrating this summer, #happypride! In my spare time, I love cycling, playing soccer, and trying new restaurants from different countries.”
