Engineering Update! ☄️
We started internal testing of our Verification feature late last week and this work continues. We find UX testing with the full team hugely useful in making sure new additions are as intuitive and as easy to use as possible.
The Verification feature enables a Verifier to request a specific credential from a Holder i.e. a crypto exchange requests a driver's license from a user (also referred to as a Holder) as part of a KYC process.
The Holder scans a QR code to receive the request, sees what credentials the Verifier is requesting, and approves the request to share the credential with the exchange. We'll have this exciting new feature in your hands soon.
We’re also working on building Selective Disclosures into the wallet to enable Holders to decide which attribute on a credential they wish to divulge to Verifiers. Internal testing on this will commence in the coming days.
And finally… we found out this week that Dock’s digital identity and credential wallet is now included in Gartner’s Peer Insights in the Decentralized Identity Solutions category!
